Just getting around to posting a little bit about my annual visit to Pennsylvania, my hometown. It’s always bittersweet for me as I have no family left there anymore. It’s just a tad weird to drive past the “family home” that grandparents built, remember our lives there, and see the current state of the house and location. Main purpose of the trip is to place flowers on my parents’ graves. However melancholy it seems to be, I do try to stop at Knoebel’s Amusement Park and enjoy a teaberry ice cream cone, visit one of the many covered bridges, and hike a little at Rickett’s Glen State Park. This park harbors a series of 22 waterfalls and is one of the most scenic areas in the state.
